I love there tandoori chicken
Yes- Asian kitchen is the name. Near olive and 170. They were doing korean food, but I heard they were switching to a Taiwanese hot-pot theme- you may want to call and check.
Yes
Absolutely loved the food here. I had the hot and spicy chicken and it was just the perfect spice for me. It was also a huge helping. So although the price is a little high, you do get a ton of food. We also tried the naan and JJ noodles. Both were excellent! Great service and comfy atmosphere. Will definitely try to go back.
This restaurant never disappoints! They have the best tikka masala I have ever eaten. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the environment is cozy.
Everest Cafe is one of my favorite places in St. Louis. It's a small cozy space with a great selection of asian food and the quality is impressive. At Lunch they have a "all you can eat" type of buffet which I recommend and at night you have a great menu, very friendly for Vegetarians and Vegans.
I love it, the food was beautiful and vibrant! Love having a few different countries in our back yard
This place is fantastic. From the awesome staff that are very attentive, to the cool atmosphere. To the really cool buffet just an all-around awesome place I would highly suggest going here for any business occasion or pleasure. Partial part of the sale goes to medical help in Nepal so you get to help some people and eat some great food. I will be back here very soon.
Everest Cafe is absolutely the best in quality flavorful cuisine from Nepal, India, and Korea!! We have been going here for over 10 years now, and the food, service, and location have only gotten better! We love taking guest from all over the country! Highly recommend for small to large crowds. This family owned restaurant shows their commitment through the flavors in their amazing dishes. Wide variety makes it easy when entertaining or just solo.
My friend and I chose this place because as we were enjoying the bars in The Grove I had the JJ noodles, which is fusion of Nepalese and Korean food. It was so delicious. There was a flavor in there that I don't think I've ever tasted before. The story of the restaurant and its owners is amazing. Lots of options for vegetarians! I would argue they have the best veggie samosas in St. Louis. Definitely going back and I hope to try some things from their drink menu!
Our favorite restaurant! They offer Nepalese Indian and Korean foods. Family owned and operated. Always good quality and friendly service. They offer Vegan and gluten-free dishes that are amazing. The lunch buffet is very reasonable.
Absolutely loved the food here. One of my new favorite restaurant in town. Highly recommended.
I love their food so their lunch buffet is an amazing value.
Delicious food! The owner/chef's story is really interesting and inspiring as well.
My family and I absolutely adore this restaurant! Great food for a wonderful cause (the profits go to support health initiatives in Nepal). The Momos, paneer tikka masala, and chicken korma are absolutely stunning. Their lunch buffet is also an amazing deal with a diverse array of food options. Everest Cafe is one of the best restaurants in St. Louis— would highly recommend!
A wide variety of cuisines and flavors all done to perfection! The staff is incredibly friendly and the service was phenomenal. I will definitely visit again the next time I'm in STL.
Great indian buffet! Food is delicious!! Price is fair as well!
Very delicious. Just seemed like everything was made from scratch. Lunch buffet was very well priced. Good options
One of my favorite go-to Asian/Middle Eastern restaurants in town.
Best buffet lunch in the entire city and county areas. Just unbelievable. Take someone you want to impress.
Good food, Indian/Korean buffet, very friendly service.
One of the best Nepali restaurant I have ever been to. The service was excellent. I rate them 10/5.Also, the story of the owner presented in the menu is really motivating.
Love this place!! The miso soup is awesome. The interior is cozy and cute. Hit it up!!
A unique and flavorful experience. Buffet style every day allows you to not have to choose just one dish. Excellent prices and amazing food. Ready to become a regular.
Tasty Nepali and Korean food. I loved my meal.
Prices went up significantly. Items that were appetizers are now entrees. Don't care for the changes. I love Chicken Tikki Masala, Vegetable Korma, Meat Mo Mos and Garlic Naan. The food is wonderful. Truly authentic flavors and presentation. The food seems quite heathly. They offer an all-you-can eat lunch buffet. The buffet items change from day to day. I prefer the dinner service over the buffet. The buffet foods just don't feel as fresh as the dinner service. Lunch is a good value for the price.
Decent fusion of Korean and Nepalese food. I prefer the buffet to the menu though.
The food here is fantastic. Great place to try something new. Not many places in St. Louis have Korean and/or Nepalese cuisine. I was very impressed with their goal to serve healthy food as well. Some of the best Indian food I've had since moving back from England. Definately will be back.
The best rice pudding I have ever had! Food was good and hearty. There wasn't excessive use of oil or salt and everything was spiced well.
Omgosh BEST FOOD EVER! They make sure that food is fresh. The owners are good people and great customer service and good food takes a while, I dont mind waiting for a good food, so worth it!
One of my absolute favorite local haunts. Those chicken korma is incredible and so is their tandoori!
We called to place a take out order and was quoted 40-45mins (which the guy did not tell me until after my order was placed and payment was provided) for pick up. We arrived around that timeframe and was told it would be another 10-15mins as they were running behind. Following the 10-15mins, we were told another 10-15mins. We informed the guy on the phone that we had a newborn in the car and needed a realistic time, again he kept giving us false info on the status of our order. This continued on until we were waiting for over 1.5 hours! Once we finally got our order, there was no offer to partially comp our meals. This made us feel that the business was greedy and more interested in making money than pleasing customers. Overall, it was a very frustrating situation and as someone who has been going to Everest Cafe for years, we will no longer be returning customers. Also to add to this, we got home to find that the Chap Chae was cooked wrong and the chicken korma was mediocre.
Best Indian-Nepali-Southkorean lunch buffet in St. Louis. Period!
The food and service were amazing! I usually drink a lot of water with dinner where ever I go and I swear every time I looked away someone came by and refilled it. So happy I came to try out Nepalese food because I will be back!
Delicious, authentic and reasonably priced. Would 100% recommend!
The lunch buffet was overall good and very reasonably priced. The servers were nice and tried their best but there was a language barrier so please be patient. Four stars only because of conflicting information (signs everywhere said pay at your table but it was difficult flagging down a server to get your check because the servers stayed at the bar until they walked around to fill water). Overall, good food, good people, and not very expensive. I would recommend this place to others.
Ordered food to go. Was delicious.
I...love...this...place!I'm from New Orleans so food is a way of life. I've traveled to eleven different countries and all over the USA and this is week I've visited this place twice. I will be back in November and will be here every night.Awesome Asian food and awesome service. The owners came out every night and asked how the food was. Something you do not see every day. The Kimchi is great and I could eat that just by itself.Keep killing it guys, I can not wait to come back and enjoy you hospitality.
The food and service was excellent!!
Excellent Vibe Here!
One of my new favorites. Husband got the tikka masala and I got the chicken korma. It was so good! We have been back several times now - the goat curry may actually be my fave now.
Good and has been consistently good over the years. Nice food, atmosphere and great service.
I read the one star reviews to see what people fussed about and was SHOCKED that they complained about the food. We have tried many items at other places similar to theirs and theirs has by far the most flavor and is the most authentic. We don’t even like to go anywhere else because we’re disappointed in the lack of flavor other places . I don’t know how it could be any better! The service is excellent and love the intimacy. Great place for a date night.
Great place for authentic Nepalese food! Loved that all the dishes were purely Nepalese. Felt like having food at home. Excellent customer service. Best Nepalese food I have had in the States.
I picked this place at random and I'm glad I did. The owners have very inspiring stories! The lunch buffet had about 15 items. Its all about the sauces and spices with this cuisine. I grabbed one of everything and was sure to grab a some nan. If you've never had the food from Napal or India, this is a great place to try out.
Great food, Great service, Great place
I can only speak to the lunch buffet, but each time I visit, I am impressed and leave very full! There is a good selection of food - especially for vegetarians. My only issue is that I am not entirely sure of what each dish is and therefore were not always sure of the spice level. Even the items that were a bit too much for my taste were still good :)
My plating was a little messy, because I smelled the goodness and couldn’t get it on the plate quick enough. Oh, and this was just the first plate I consumed. Super friendly staff too and naan-judgmental when I ate all the rice and asked for more from the back.
Some of the dishes are a bit more bland than what you might be expecting. Delicious all the same. The buffet's odd mix of Korean and Indian is quirky and unique. This is definitely a place to try twice.
Great place for takeout and delivery. Quick service and always tasty food to try out. chicken dumplings is the must to order.❤️❤️
The story behind this restaurant is amazing. Everything is heart healthy AND so delicious.
I visit Everest Cafe every time I'm in town. I try something different each time, and I've never been disappointed. The pork momo are amazing. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable.
Absolutely a great change of pace.Loved the buffet
